Dermatologists are leaders in the field of cosmetic surgery. Some dermatologists complete fellowships in surgical dermatology. Dermatologists perform procedures such as laser hair removal, acne removal, skin tightening via injections, facelifts, blepharoplasty, and liposuction. Cosmetic dermatology entails the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin conditions that adversely have an effect on our appearance.
